Wildcat Football Season 2009

Abilene Christian University defeated WTAMU 93 - 68 Saturday, Nov. 22nd at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene, TX. ACU set an NCAA Division II record with their 93 point victory, for the most points scored ever in a post season game.

Welcome to Sea Foam Stadium

On September 19th, 2009, for the first time in the history of Concordia's 40 year college football program, the team played a home game in their own stadium. A soldout crowd of 3,615 turned out to watch Concordia face rival Winona State. The game was also deemed Concordia University Military Appreciation Day by City of Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman. The pre-game, halftime, and post-game festivities included a military flyover, fireworks, an enlistment ceremony, mayoral proclamation, and performances by the CU Dance Team, Choir, and Band. This video, which showcases all the excitement leading up to, and including, the game was filmed and produced by Concordia-St. Paul alumns Chris Fink, Josh Whitcomb, and Shane Wasserman, as part of their production team: 651 Media.
