1st Qtr - Championship (2009 Eastern Regional D3 JM)
Ogden won the toss. On their first drive, Ogden moved the ball pretty well at first. On the Counter xx, the wing back dropped the ball on the hand off and the OL ran the wrong play. The Indians then fumbled the ball back but the fumble was not awarded to Ogden. The Indians then scored with #25 doing most of the damage. They kicked for 2 and made it. Indians up 8 to zero. Ogden then received the kickoff and drove down the field. That drive ended in a TD in the 2nd qtr. Key plays on Ogdens second drive: 28 Buck Wedge on 1st sound, and several wedge plays for big yards. The Indians made use of a very interesting tactic. The defense would mimic the offenses snap count and shout "GO!". This along with the defensive players simulating the start of a snap caused several procedure calls go against Ogden. The key plays in the 1st QTR, were: Ogdens fumble on counter xx, No call on the Indians fumble, a huge run by 25 on 4th and long for a TD, the stemming and the Indians defense simulating the start of a snap with physical and vocal inflections, a big first down with a 28 Buck Wedge, and several wedge plays by Ogden. 8 to 0 Indians at the end of 1.
