Youngstown Cardinal Mooney vs. Steubenville
A classic eastern Ohio prep match-up takes center stage in the post-season again. Mooney came in at 13-0 and Steubenville at 12-1. The Cardinals break an early 7-7 tie thanks to a superb ground effort led by Braylon Heard (West Virginia) as the senior torched Big Red defense for over 300 yards on the night. Mooney heads to the 2009 Division III final with a 45-7 victory.
