2009 Montgomery College Women's Soccer
Congratulations to the 2009 Montgomery College (MD) Womens Soccer team for a historic season. Led by their quartet of captains Julie Bowers, Ana Santiago, Cindy Climaco and Katie Vivian, Head Coach Kelly Wakemans squad finished second in the country in the Division III NJCAA National Championships. After spending most of the season ranked number one in the country, the Knights took both the Region XX and District C titles to advance to the national Final Four. A thrilling overtime win in the semi-finals put them in the title game where they came up just one goal shy of a national championship.
